Status

Reassigned from the Inquisition to Riftwatch during their visit to the Silent Plains.

Reputation

Previously with the Inquisition for several years. Worked in Forces, and for part of that time as an (unofficial-ish) second-in-command of the Forces Division, assisting Division Head Wren Coupe despite her being a Templar. Led a strike by many former Circle mages in an effort to convince the Inquisition to destroy a cache of phylacteries in their possession, and helped negotiate a deal with the Chantry on that subject. Friends with Kostos Averesch and a number of other Inquisition members (Marisol Vivas, Casimir Lyov, Gareth). Eventually got restless because she's best in big battles and rejoined the Inquisition in Orlais to fight on the front lines against the Invasion and counter-invasion Exalted March.

Those familiar with Nevarran Circle mages or the mage rebels might have known her as a once up and coming Knight-Enchanter from Nevarra City who abruptly turned Libertarian/Resolutionist and was packed off to Perendale as punishment. She left Perendale along with a few other mages when the rebellion began, and fought at pretty much every major battle of the Mage/Templar war. When Fiona and others elected to compromise, Nell was one of those that refused and broke away rather than ally with Tevinter or the Inquisition. Dropped off the map for a couple years leading a rebel splinter cell before finally giving that up and joining the Inquisition.

Hooks

May have fought with or against characters involved in Mage/Templar War. Known to be unafraid to get her hands dirty to ensure victory. Has very strong opinions about mage freedom that she's happy to share. Experienced with offensive combat magic and willing to teach other mages to defend themselves. Up for dueling/sparring against others (mage or not) to keep in practice.

When not working can often be found in Lowtown taverns.
